Pricing   

Inspection & Report Writing:

The pricing for a home inspection by AAA Home Inspections LLC is very simple. 

It all depends upon how much time it takes.

I am currently charging:   $40.00 per hour for the Inspection Time.

                                     $40.00 per hour for the Report Writing Time.

The Average Inspection:

The average sized house (1000 to 1800 sq ft) takes about 6 to 8 hours for the complete process, for a total price of $240 to $320.

The amount of time needed is determined by the quality, the condition, and the complexity of the house.

Certain variables can increase the inspection & report writing time, such as:

            1)  The house was poorly built.

            2)  The house has not been maintained.

               3)  The house is complex - multiple electrical systems, multiple crawl spaces,

                     difficult access, etc.

               4)  The house is large, is multi-leveled, or is more than 50 years old.

    A Word to the Wise:

"A THOROUGH inspection COSTS a LITTLE more.  A HURRIED inspection COSTS a LOT more."

The Un-Informed Consumer is in a hurry to find the Inspector with the cheapest price, but does not realize the harm they are doing to themselves.  A quality inspection is worth its weight in gold.  True Value is Found in: 1) The ability to effectively negotiate with the Seller, 2) Having accurate knowledge of the condition of the house, and 3) The ability to make needed repairs and updates. These Insights far outweigh the few dollars of savings for a hurried, low priced inspection.

Driving Time:

I do not charge for driving time if the project is less than 30 minutes away, for a total round trip of 60 minutes.

If the total driving time exceeds 60 minutes, I charge $30.00 per hour for the additional time.

   Method:  Continuous Radon Monitor - SunNuclear

   With a Home Inspection - Inside of Blount County:  $110.00  (Driving charges outside of Blount Co.)

   Radon Only - Inside of Blount County:  $155.00  (Driving charges outside of Blount Co.)
